Certainly something I haven’t seen before, but the small independent brand can certainly do that.Set in a 40mm wide steel Tangomat case, the Replica Bell Ross watches, in perfect Bauhaus demeanor is utterly simply and legible, but not without style. The needle thin blued-steel hands are a breeze to read on the dial, and the case proportions all are good. A subsidiary seconds dial gives the watch a true classic look. The thin bezel makes the dial feel larger, and the case is relatively thin for this type of movement at under 11mm thick. The watch has a sapphire crystal on the front and back. Pressing the pusher above the crown, the time on the main dial changes as well as the reference city indicator in the city or GMT +/- window (depending on the style of the Replica Bell Ross watches). The Reference time is adjusted via a small inset pusher on the case.None of the three dial styles are better or worse.
Nomos of Glashutte Germany has a new fun toy in their closet, the in-house made and developed automatic Calibre Xi movement. It is a world time movement with a handy pusher that cycles through time zones, while offering a reference time at 3 o’clock in GMT format. The idea behind the Xi movement is to reduce the complexity and frustration involved in multiple time zone watches. The function here is as *** as that on Vogard watches, but the Nomos Tangomat GMT piece offer the additional benefit of having a reference time indicator. While the Nomos Zurich World Time is the top-of-the-line model (discussed by us here previously), the Tangomat GMT collection (seen here) also has the same automatic movement. Interestingly enough, Nomos seemingly couldn’t decide on a final dial design and layout for the Tangomat GMT Replica Bell Ross watches, so they will release three of them.
